Due to our small numbers, our pupils enjoy high staff/pupil ratios and benefit from individual and small group teaching where the learning is tailored to the individual needs of your child.

  • EYFS includes all pre-school and reception children and is taught by Mrs Fawcett-Smith and Mrs Harrison, Early Years Educator.
  • Class 1 includes year 1 and year 2 pupils and is taught by Mrs Harmer.
  • Class 2 incorporates year 3 to 6 pupils and is taught by Mrs Dauber, and Mr Adams.

However, within the overall structure we have a lot of flexibility because we aim to develop every child’s learning according to their needs. This means that pupils are often taught in small groups according to their age and stage of development and all teachers have a teaching commitment in both classes, so we know our pupils very well.

Our recent Ofsted Report of September 2013 commented:

“The good curriculum provides a wide range of well thought out, first hand experiences that promote essential subject skills well.”
