Our Sports Day starts at 1pm with field events. Track events start at 2pm. This year we are also hosting a free ‘see a dentist’ session. Parents can take their children to see the dentist and get a free checkup and goodie bag! This will be a first come, first served event taking place from 1pm and will run till 2pm. Whilst your child is waiting to take part in a field event why not take them along to get their teeth checked? This is a new initiative and we would like to thank Jack Matthew’s mum, Carolyn and Burgess-Hyder Dental Group for providing this free service.
We are holding an open evening to celebrate your child’s work. This is an opportunity to come into school and meet your child’s teacher, and new teacher for September. You will be able to look at their achievements in their school books, displays on the wall and chat to teaching staff.
This will take place at 5.30pm in Blackbirds classroom at 5.30pm on Wednesday 11 July. This event is an opportunity to meet the staff teaching in pre-school and reception. Induction packs will be handed out and any questions or queries answered.
