18.09.14 School Football Team

2nd February 2015 By

Our school football team had their first matches of the season at Staindrop School on Thursday. They played Ingleton in their first match. It was a challenging match, as Ingleton have a very strong team. Despite losing 5- 0, our team remained focussed and learnt a valuable lesson about the importance of marking the opposition.

The second match against Startforth was really exciting and we won 3 – 1.

Our final match against Bowes ended in a draw 1 – 1.

19.09.14 MacMillan Coffee Morning

2nd February 2015 By

On Friday 19th September we held our MacMillan Coffee morning to raise funds for this charity. It was a well attended event and our older pupils helped to serve drinks and welcome our visitors to school. We held a competition to guess the number of hundreds and thousands on the cake, and our mid day supervisor, Marlene, won! Thank you to everyone who attended and helped us to raise over £70 for this charity.
