During the morning we listened, as we walked around the Cathedral, to the story of St Cuthbert, before ending up at his shrine within the Cathedral. The children had the opportunity to dress up as characters within the story.
In the Afternoon we went down to the banks of the river Wear and the children learned about the changes that have taken place throughout time and then made mud before throwing it at trees and making muddy faces.
The children had a great time and their behavior was superb making us very proud of them. There was a lot of listening and quite a bit of walking but no moans or groans!!!
